Learn how to take a stitched needlepoint project from canvas to finished piece in this two-part hands-on workshop.

In Class One, you’ll learn the binding stitch, a technique used to create a clean, finished edge on projects such as bookmarks and key fobs.

Please arrive with a fully stitched key fob or bookmark canvas that is ready for the binding stitch. During class, we’ll walk through the technique and get you started on binding your project.

Between classes, you’ll complete the binding stitch around your piece.

Then, bring your bound project back for Class Two, where we’ll turn it into a finished bookmark or key fob. You’ll learn how to:

Add grosgrain ribbon backing to finish as a bookmark, or
Add key fob hardware, available in class, to create a finished key fob

Before Class One: Bring a fully stitched key fob or bookmark canvas that is ready to be finished.

Before Class Two: Complete the binding stitch learned in Class One and bring your bound project back to class.
